I replaced the switch box last year because cylinder 2-4-6 not firing at all, switch box did the trick, boat ran great all last year, took boat this weekend out of storage and ran it on the hose, I noticed with a timeing light on each plug wire, that number 6 was not firing very much, 1 or 2 times every minute.
any ideas? coil, bad switch box again? I changed the stator last year as well,
thanks,

Switch the coil with another cylinder to see if the problem moves with the changed coil and plug wire.

If not, then try switching the ignition boxes, if it then moves to another cyl the box is going out (again?). Start checking the ohms draw on those coils to see if #6 is noticable different, placing too much load on the box, possibly causing premature failure.

Make sure that all connections are clean and tight.
