high speed stator output

i have a 150 faststrike johnson the mechanic said the high speed stator is putting out 230 sppose to put out 250 now i don't now if he meant amp or what reason it was check i have a high speed miss that start around 2500 rpm or so not sure tach don't work i know the rectorfyor is bad going to change tommorrow

Sometimes a bad rectifier can cause ignition problems.

A 20 volt difference isn't that much, a variance in RPM can give varying readings.

Hold off on the new stator until you change the rectifier.
