1973 eveinrude 25hp 25302 mod # need the plastic pice the rod slides on

anyone known whats its called or know the part #

That rod doesn't seem correct and shouldn't slide on a plastic piece but should lock into a plastic piece. The end of the rod is bent in the wrong direction.
Order the correct rod from Evinrude or boats.net ant it should fit correctly.

the rod is correct it is the link for the manual choke.

The picture is correct, that is the way it is and that is the way it goes. Whoever drew the parts list goofed up and left it out. However, the same part is used to retain all the throttle and choke links on the 1970 (and other) 60hp. It is part number 313329, Retainer. About $3 at the BRP website.
