Info on ignition sequence for 125 Hp Force Motor

Hi All,

I'm trying to locate ignition sequence information on an 125 Hp motor.

I beleave it is an 85 model, the number is
model 1257 x 5A
Serial 3248

Any guidance on where to look would be appreciated.

Fires in order, top to bottom, cylinders are labeled 1-top 2 3 4-bottom

Not quite! It fires 1, 3, 2, 4! However, what I think Roscoe meant was that the coils are in order from top to bottom 1, 2, 3, 4 and connect to the plugs in that order. The triggers under the flywheel are positioned at manufacture to take care of the proper firing sequence.

Actually Frank, I screwed up. Never really thought of firing order, just visualized the plug wires, and haven't worked on one of those for years.

Dang, good thing we have you here to keep us straight.
