Inherited an early 80's Mercruiser boat (Galaxy, 16') with an engine alignment problem. After seeing the washers that come in a new engine mount kit, I'm missing the spring washers, which I feel may be why the coupler is getting hot. What I can't seem to find is a diagram of what order these washers go in. I haven't ordered a new kit yet as I'd rather just add a washer or two (it's not a keeper yet) and save myself a $250 coupler.
Done a lot of searching for a diagram I've seen somewhere before, can't find it again.. any links, leads much appreciated!
