Can you put an 18hp long shaft unit on a 30hp short shaft unit? Both are 2 strokes years are 1986 Nissan 18hp l/s the other is 1986 30hp Tohatsu s/s or a 1990 30hp Nissan s/s. I have an 18hp now and want/need more hp. I found a good deal on the 30hp motors but they are short shafts. Any and all replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mongo
