hi,
well im considering taking off my 91 merc 115 and replace it with my 87 merc 150 xr2. The boat is a 18 foot center console wellcraft. Any suggestions?Which one would you go with..

most wish that was their problem! :) Go with the '87 150.

Is the boat rated for 150hp?

If so, I would make the change.

The 150 is just going to push the boat a bit faster and use a LOT more fuel.

Leave the 115 on.

Call ME and I'll come take the 150 off your hands.
