Hello to all. I may be buying a 2008 leftover Discovery 215 with a 5.0 (220hp)
It is my first "bigger" boat. I was coming off a stingray 180 br with a 3.0 and it was under powered and handled horribly (belly flopped) over wakes (reguardless of size) If I had 4 or more people it was really slow. Was great with 2 or just myself. What can I expect from ride and performance with a discovery. Any info good or bad would be great. Thanks all

What kind of a 'deal' are you getting?
The boat is very decent, and with the 5.0 you will have enough power to pull skiiers and tubers without any issues. I think you will enjoy it a lot, but as with any boat it will only last you as long as you maintain it properly.
Take it for a mandatory test ride before buying and see for yourself. If the guy say's no test rides you really don't want to be buying a boat from him anyway. My $.02
