I have a 72 100 and the plastic water tubes are in rough shape, can I buy this tubing and cut it myself? Also what is the trick to lining up the tubes to slide them over the copper tubes that circulate water from the pump? Can I order the oem tubes?.
Thanks

Those plastic tubes are the trick to lining up the copper tubes into the pump housing, they are guides only they don't seal anything as long as they are intact enough to guide the tubes thats all you need. As far as replacement I suppose you could replace them with the correct size thin wall tubing, "shop
evinrude.com" shows a short tube still available, I don't know if you have a long and a short tube though. Hope this helps good luck.

The two tubes are: 314765 and 314081. The 081 is still available. See your local Bombardier dealer. If the 765 is NLA, ask them to search other Bombardier dealers for possible stock on hand.
