Hey. Ive been a member of the site for about 10 months now I think. Ever since we started looking at 17 footers for our boat. Our wants increased as time went on, and we eventually ended up with this 2004 Caravelle 207.
We love her. So far weve taken it out twice, had lots of fun and we cant wait for summer to kick in. Here are some pics. Ill put more, and better, pics up as we take them, just wanted to get a few out here.
It's a Merc 5.0L MPI, Alpha One.
Found out shes got plenty of power for watersports. Me and my brother are getting into wakeboarding and my dad hopes to start slalomming again after...years.

Congrats, very nice looking boat! Enjoy the water sports and good times and wish your dad well, I just re-started skiing last year at age 44, I was never pro by any stretch, but I got my first time and was able to go for a bit before I was tuckered.
My wife, son and I love the sport and can't wait for summer to begin
Nice looking setup. Yellow boats look faster on the water tho,not so much in the parking lot. And how come the people in your pics have heads like the new florescent lightbulbs?
Just kiddin. I'm just jonesin for the water here to warm up enuf to dunk her again. Enjoy the season-its always too short

That is a really nice boat. Pop up cleats, extended platform, and MPI! That is a rare package. What is the top speed? How many hours on her? I am not a fan of yellow but I would make an exception for that rig.
Congratulations. You were patient in your boat search, and it appears the patience paid off. I think that overpriced Glastron you looked at is still on Craigslist.

Not sure exactly. But with a loaded boat on our first trip we got to 49mph, speedo based. We like the holeshot much more than top speed
I was never interested in yellow either until I saw this boat in person. I love how it stands out. Sitting near the ramp we are around about 25 other boats, and we were the only yellow one. Looking around I see lots of blacks, blues, reds...but yellow?...nahhh, just us. Its a good feeling to know that our boat will turn heads in a crowded marina.

HaHa!! Yess it definately did. Thats awesome that you remember the 19' Glastron we looked at. the first boat we looked at actually. I think the seller eventually gave up and decided to keep it. It was definately a much cheaper boat, but the one we bought is much much nicer and will suit our needs almost perfectly. Very glad we listened to the help on this site. thanks again everyone!
