Guys,
I just bought a boat that has a johnson 90 horse 1997 model. Anyways, today I drove the boat around in the river and it idles good and I can increase my speed a little but not much. When I get around 25% throttle or full throttle boat stalls and shuts off. Here is the kicker. I can make the boat accelerate by tapping the choke over and over. Here is what I did so far:
1. New champion plugs
2. New plug wires
3. New external 6 gallon Gas Tank
4. New Gas
5. Let warm up for long time
Cant get it to work. Please help me try some new things. Id like to talk least expensive 1st. I will post what fixed it when its running good.
