Hey everyone, I'm new here but I want to fix a problem i experienced at the end of last season. I've been experiencing studdering and bogging when accelerating, and at first obviously thought it was a fuel delivery problem and checked evenything I could think of in that respect (Im not too handy with outboards). Also it would often not reach wot and would top out at a much lower rpm. I have limited knowledge of how to repair these outboards but would appreciate any suggestions. Also where could I find a repair manual for a 1996 johnson outboard? I would like to do the repairs myself like I do with my truck.
