I am wanting to double check the year and type of this motor.

Model # RK-24L
Serial: 2288360

Could someone let me know?

Great, Thanks for the fast reply. Also, do you know what the gas/oil mix should be. I am ordering my manual today but want to run the boat this week.

The mix should be 24:1. 1964 was the switchover year that they completed the changes that allowed the entire motor line to run on 50:1.
