I know that a lot has been posted on the subject of steering but has anyone found a good diagram on a Push/Pull transom mounted steering.

The longer the boat has set the stiffer it gets. Of course, me adding grease is making it worse.

I know that I am going to have to take it apart, clean and polish (or replace) each part, but I would like as detailed a document as I can find before I do.

You are talking about the ancient 2 cables, pulleys and stand-offs steering system, aren't you?

If you do some research on the subject some one was asking a similar question. Not shure on the answer.

remove the nut marked in red , and the one in blue, pull cable assembly out. reinstall just the opposite.
