Can anybody tell me what i am doing wrong !!
I have just bought a mariner 60 bigfoot , year approx 1999-2000 , not efi.
The engine runs great once i have it started , but trying to start it when it is cold is hard, it turns over perfect but does not want to fire , but after trying this for a while it starts !! 10-15 times !! has the engine got a choke , as it is electric start i do not know where it would be ( i am not great with engines ), is it a automatic choke ?? & would there be an exact way to start the engine ? I am probably doing something simple wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated.

It has an enrichner which replaces the old butterfly type choke. Turn the key on then push it in and hold it for a few seconds, then start normally. If needed, push the key in again to choke more.
