1982 90HP Inline six bottom carb pouring gas

Need help!!! I have 1982 90hp mercury inline six that the bottom carb is pouring gas out of it and is not sucking as hard as the top two. Motor starts fine and will run at low speed. gas is pouring out of the screw on the side and the front of the carb. pouring more at low speed. at about 5100 rpm no gas out of screw, but still a little out of front. i can screw the needle valve in all the way or back it out all the way no change.

Sounds like it's time to rebuild the carbs and readjust the float ...
Mercury #1395-51091 contains all the parts needed + adjustment instructions ..( ONE kit pr carb )

When the carbs are done it's time to go over the time/sync part, can be found here..

i can screw the needle valve in all the way or back it out all the way no change.

Usually indicates a problem, maybe an good idea to measure the engines compression....take a look at the pistons too ( look true the spark plug holes ), look for clean spots ( indication of water intrusion, steam cleaned... ).

Bad float. I've seen it before. unfortunately it's your bottom card so you will have to disassemble the whole lot. Might as well rebuild. Have fun.

I've replaced the bottom float without removing the carb, but i wouldn't recommend it. You just need an offset screwdriver to get to the float bowl....
