Default Windshield-mounted wakeboard rack...or somewhere else?

We found out that our boards dont fit in the center compartment of our bowrider....probably the same with many boats. We dont have a tower, at least not until next season, but the boards sitting in the boat and sliding around are really annoying.

Right now were trying to figure out a good way to hook them to the back of the boat, since we have an extended swim platform and plenty of room for them.
Has anyone ever seen wakeboard racks that mount somewhere besides the tower? Maybe the side of the windshield? this would be awesome to get them out of the way without spending $$$$$$$ for a tower.

thanks.

Good call smitty.

By the way (about to ninja this thread), I found two soft spots in floor already. I am trying to resign my interior for after this season. I want to design almost the same setup as you see in todays V-drive boats, the wrap around bench seat with the captains chair, making two side compartments next to the motor for storage or maybe even small sacs.

I figure I will build most everything except the captains chair. Trying to figure out if I can make the seats in a way that I can do a hideable board rack under the long bench. Put the top of the bench cushion on a hinge and pull it up to show a custom rack. I don't know if it will work 100% yet due to the width of the wakeboards, but its an idea.
