How do you remove Trim Cover Assembly from 1997 40 hp Force?

How do you remove the Trim Cover Assembly (# 25 in the link below) on a 1997 Force 40 hp without breaking it? It seems pretty flimsy and I'd hate to snap it in two as I'd guess they're pretty hard to come by these days. Seems like you would just remove the bolt and spread the sides and slide it off, is it that simple?

Ok, I found the answer and will post it for any other curious people. To remove the cover - on one side of the cover close to the transom press in and up, then pull out a bit. It should spring free a bit, then do the same to the other side and work it free.

Funny thing is, I can rebuild small engines all day long, but getting to the guts, that's what throws me - go figure.
