Needing a 2nd battery for the boat in my siggy. They come with 2 batteries off the showroom floor. The previous owner threw a new marine battery in last year, but never replaced the trolling motor battery, leaving an open spot in the battery tray.
I have looked around at some of the local retailers (Boaters World, Dicks, WalMart, Sears, etc) and they all carry different marine brands. I know the size is a 24 series, but have no idea which one would be ideal.
Besides as a trolling motor battery, I also would like for it to handle the drain of a CD player with a couple of small speakers (no additional amps), which I am wanting to have installed in the boat for some summer tubing. I am not wanting spend over $100 for the battery, which gives me an option basically at each of those retailers. The battery that is in there now I believe is an Interstate or a Stowaway (at work, can't check).
It would also be peace of mind to have the 2nd battery as a backup if the 1st one dies on the water....
