My old 78 mod. 40 hp won't start. I just rebuilt carb to make sure it was clean and free of problems. I am getting spark and fuel but she still won't start. I unhooked the kill wires and the merc tilt kill switch but it still won't start. Its like something maybe electrical is keeping it from statring. Its not a tiller, its a remote start. I sure would appreciate some help from someone that might have some suggestions. This motor was running fine down the river. I stoped to fish and the old girl never started again. Thanks for any help.
