Using OMC Controls

Ok I bought a 69 starcraft no motor but had OMC controls on it, found a nice 50 hp force motor so bought that, now I do have a control box for the force but no ignition system, and no cables, but have everything for my omc controls is there a way to rig the cables up to work and also anyone have any idea how I could get this wired?
there are what looks to be 12 wires that would need to hook up to the motor and 3 others that goto the power trim. on my 50hp force when removing it there were only 8 wires...

I think it would be just too much fuss to try to jerry-rig the OMC controls to the Force engine: Cable ends are different and can not be exchanged, wire colors are different, the OMC wires just plug in whereas the Force terminate on the engine.

Used control boxes with cables, are going for around 40 bucks on ebay. Engine electrical cables should only be around 20.
