Where can I find the replacement part #'s for old parts.
I need new coils for my 1977 140hp Evinrude, the part # is 581610 as per evinrude.com and the price is $45.00 ea. Simmilar coils is selling for $25.00 ea but I can not find the excact part# replacement which after 30yrs is probably a replacement of a replacement.
Do I bite the bullit and just pay the $45

1977 is not old.
On the top of this page is a button that says marine parts. There is a store there that also sells coils for your outboard at $31 a piece. You can either buy online or talk to a live person living in Utah and they will help you

Re: Replacement # for Evinrude parts

I couldn't jive the Evinrude Part #'s with the #'s on the Iboat site.
Found the correct part #'s from Marine engine.com
So I ordered from them, hoping for the best as electrical parts is normally not exchangabel.

Joe.
