69 6hp fisherman water tube

ok guys heres the deal took this motor apart because it wasnt spitting water ordered a repair kit for the water pump so the lower unit will be good to go i hope its been so long since i started working on this and i look at teh water pump tube and something didnt seem right let me know what you guys think... me it looks a little POINTED

looks normal to me. just did one last week.

ok thanks trash because this is what the groument looked like when i pulled it off

besides the inpeller would this(groument) contribute to the non spitting of water

that is a very common problem of not getting the tube lined up properly, yes it will restrict the flow.
