I have 91 16' Valco Bayrunner. It has side console steering and is welded, no rivets. It has 3 bench seats w/storage lids. Looks factory. Riveted on one, the other side has machine screws w/ locknuts. I want to take the bench seats out and fabricate side boxes something like the crestliner canadian 14' or 16' series. I think this will keep the hulls structural integrity along with giving me more clear space and I want to add pedastal seating. I will also be fabricating a new steering console. I also I also want to pour the 2 part expanding foam underneath the deck that I will be replacing. I will also be installing 3 conduits below the deck, 1 for electrical, 1 for a furture live/baitwell and one for future.
Any thoughts?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a 17? Klamath outfitted similar as your describing, one thing I whished mine had is a live well.

You Might want to consider building one into your project.

Then I will have to confess my boat envy?..
