Does anyone happen to know the secret to draining the fish boxes on a 1998 Bayliner Trophy center console boat?

Re: 1998 Trophy Boat:

I have a 1999 Trophy boat, and I have the same problem. My boat had been stored for years before I bought it, and the drains had 2 problems: 1 - they are situated on the side of the fish box, not at the lowest point. 2 - they were plugged up with dirt and debris, including dirt dobber nests. I sprayed water into the drain lines from the sump box to clear them. I then jacked the trailer as high as I could, and then placed cement blocks under the tongue to get the bow as high as possible. I still have to use a sponge to get the last of the water out. I will eventually look at moving the drain holes to the bottom of the box. I just wish I had longer arms; it is a long reach to work on the boxes. :)

For Most of the boats i've owned my best trick for draining the fish boxes has always been to not catch any fish, therefore, I don't have to fill the box. Tell me the trick to putting fish in the box and I'll figure out how to drain it. Ha ha, Goodluck
