power head came off ok

i just pulled the power head off a 115etxf,(shift shaft) 2 bolts are stuck in the middle housing,if iam correct, the taper runs top to bottom,therefore, zip bolts and push out top,they move but will not come out,, thanks for any advice:confused:

yes the taper is lager at the top than the bottom.
try soaking the holes with Clorox bleach a few times.
it eats aluminium oxide.
rubber too so be careful.
