Making some progress at last. 3 passes with 40, 60 & 80 grit. Looking like a boat instead of a carrier of some foreign unnamed fungus. Pics show what it was to what it is. Still have 2 more passes with finer grit yet. At least I can see a light at the end of the keel. Or is it tunnel ?
4th pics shows 2 little holes. These are at each bottom corner. Drains ? All welded, no hull rivets. Drains for what ?
More progress pics as soon as I make some more progress. Wish my back stood up to all this as well as my sand paper does..........................
