got a 25 hp 1995 mainer, motor looks great, super clean. motor starts right up but, idles rough,the whole motor shakes until you get up to 1/4 throttle and then it smooths out,,,motor will idle and doesnt stall,,carb. looks clean ,fuel is good,filter is fine.got good spark,, can someone help?
Have you tried adjusting the idle mixture? Might also be due for a new set of spark plugs, compression test and some power tuner couln't hurt.

i just put in new plugs, got good spark on both sides.tried adjusting the idle screw,,,still got the same problem........motor runs strong on the top end
