Does anyone know what brand of tach came in an 87 capri with a 125 force O/B

Faria. If you are looking for a replacement, it has to be one made especially for Force outboards (20-pole alternator output).

I am putting an old merrc 1150 on my boat because the force was blown befor I got the boat and need to find out if the tach in it will work with it or if I have to relpace it

Ah, I see. The original tach probably won't work with the Merc. It might have a switch on the back for different types of motors, but I don't think so.
