Avon Redseal inflation and floorboard questions.

Hi!
I just posted a similar message in the Inflatable and RIB forum but thought I'd post it here too.

I just bought an older Avon Redseal. I have a foot pump but don't know how much to inflate the boat. What's the best way to tell when it's inflated sufficiently?

Also, I have a couple floorboard slightly cracked. I'm going to use them as a template for new ones, but I need to use the dinghy first. Can I use the boat without the floorboards in stalled if I'm only rowing?
