Wanting to upgrade the control box on my dad's old '69 Whaler with a '78 55hp Rude. Does anyone have experience with aftermarket control boxes from Teleflex or other companies besides OMC?? The original control box is a Evinrude powerpilot and has the ignition built into it. After looking at some of the aftermarket control boxes, it looks like they may not have a ignition switch built in. Anyone ever done a swap like this?? THX in advance.
