i just got this 1982 merc.25hp one of the transom bolts was cut off and the other is striped out and frozen, whats the best way to remove them??? LONNIE
I would recommend an angle grinder, and If you don't have this, a second choice would be a Dremel with the high-speed metal cutting disks. A torch probably wouldn't be useful in this location as it would damage the transom. PB Blaster or similar probably won't cut it (unlike the angle grinder).
