tilt leaking down

Johnson ficht 150 1998 . When I lift my trim way up high so I wont scrub the concrete leaving my garage I notice that slowly the motor will go back down to a vertical position. I also use the built in motor support and when I raise the motor it will slowly seep down. What should I look for ?

check to make sure the manual release is closed tight...it should be on the starboard side bracket where the motor bolts to your boat its a hole about 1/2 way down bracket look in it and you will see what looks like a flat headed screw turn it to the right and make sure its tight, if it is look for external leaks...is the fluid level low ??

Torque on the manual valve release screw is 45lbs, gotta be real tight.!
