200 hp Johnson buzzer Issue

I was fishing last month and was out all day. I have twin 1994 Johnson 200 hp motors and both ran fine most of the day. On my way back the warning buzzer sounded on one engine anytime I exceeded 3,000 rpm. I had just filled the oil reseservor before heading back. I stopped and double checked the oil and tried to pump the bulb (it was hard so I figured there was plenty of pressure). My assumption is the buzzer is is related to the oil flow but frankly don't know how to tell the difference between fuel flow and oil relative to the warning buzzer. I did switch the gas tanks from the reserve to the main, but the issue continued. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: 200 hp Johnson buzzer Issue

sounds like fuel restriction alarm to me. Check all fuel hoses and connections for cracks, kinks, dirty fuel filter? Stopped up vent in the fuel tank. Weak fuel pump... Most likely a hose or fitting. Also, the anti-siphon valve in the fuel outlet on the tank.
