Just heard on the news what GM plans for its restructuring.
Closing 5 more factories, dropping or selling off the Saturn line of vehicles and laying off 47,000 by years end. Those are huge numbers and the impact will be wide spread to be sure.
Waiting now to see the affect this will have on the Canadian operations. I'm sure it won't be pretty.
I imagine there will be wage concessions to be made as well.
