I recently learned that JOhnson recommends the use of Champion's "QL" type spark plugs for use on all VRO models. Is this info up-to-date? Is there a superior replacement. I know they do a great deal of testing to determine the best spark plug but the specification chart I read is only current as of 2007. The guy I bought it from had regular plugs in there and said it misfired at high rpm but he wasn't sure why...hhmmm. Also, does this engine have a charging system...i'm clueless and any help would be cool. Thanks -Lewis

Thanks Silvertip, good to know! Any Idea what kind of charging voltage I should be getting out of the engine, I'd like to check it.
