Trim Gauge Needed

Does anybody know where I can get a trim gauge for a 1991 100hp mariner. My sender reads 0-45 ohms full up and 200-250 ohms full down.
Anything in that range will work. Teleflex says it should be 195 full up and 10 down but but that's wrong. Besides, they don't even show a gauge for that. I have the (new) original sender and if any one is thinking I can roll 180 degrees and reverse the readings that doesn't work. Been there, done that.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help. I've been all over looking for one that will work. All I can find is 2001 and up.. I have 3 of those that vendors told me were the right ones. The didn't even ask me to send them back they just credited my card.

How about a Mercury or Teleflex dealer. After 2 different gauges I might suspect a different problem.

The problem is apparently well known. In some years manufacturers used 0 ohms as the down ref and 250 as the up. Other years the flipped that around. The gauges are specific to the sender which is probably why I had no problem getting the sender but the place I bought the sender from didn't have the gauge.

Teleflex gauges are now distributed through Sierra. There is very little info on their website. I've called around and nobody seems to be able to order the correct gauge from Merc. I suspect it's a Teleflex gauge with Merc logo and that's a dead end. I'm going to hit the bargin basements at Cabela's and Overton's and see what comes up.

Wow, I hit the bargin basement at Cabela's and there were two that might work. I can't tell by the description so I called them and the reason that they are in clearance is because they are obsolete. They had two and I know I should buy both but if it doesn't work I'll have four that don't work and all are different.

One of them I thought I could use with the new Yamaha but not... new electronics all the way around on it. Maybe I'll just take the guts out and weight the bottom of the needles so I can use them to show the present attitude of the boat. Instant Pitch and Roll gauges!!!!.
