i have a dt150 that most of the time when i throttle down it wants to die? any suggestions. it is also the middle of winter and i did notice the pee stream comes out intantly could that be a stuck thermostat not letting the motor heat up???? help!!!!!!!!!

i also am having trouble getting on plane the motor wants to cavitate unless i really ease into the throttle. to much throttle and i just about sit still it seems like and the prop is spin alot more rpm than its pushing the boat. any help is much appreciated.

When was the last time you did a link 'n' synch?

Where is your AV plate located vs. the keel? What trim are you using on takeoff?

The motor should always "pee"..if it doesn't you have a problem.

lynch and synch ??? not sure

as far as the motor on the transom it is high there is a 1" gap from the bracket and the top of the transom. i usually have it trimmed in a good ways when i take off. also have a hydrofoil.

I know there supposed to pee i just thought that the motor needs to warm up before it will pee do to the thermostat opening like it does on a car. \
