Sooo,,, how good are Teleflex shift cables for the remote control. Just wondering if I can save a few bucks on the shift cables or if it's something I should spend the extra cash to get Mercury/Quicksilver parts. (friggin Gen II cables are expensive )

Am I going to be kicking myself in 5 years for getting cheap cables?

Even the basic cables from Teleflex can last a long time and perform well. I put some Teleflex cables in my 32' Regal about 5 yrs ago because I couldn't get my hands on anything else in a reasonable amount of time. They've been great so far.
