I have been to my local marine shop, but I didn't have my model# with me for the above piece I am looking for. Let me try and explain on what I exactly need. On my motor I need the bracket that the steering arm bolts to. I need the bracket that is bolted to the motor, then this connects(bolts) to the arm, which connects to the steering cable, I ONLY need the bracket that bolts to the motor. I have looked freakin every where (after market) for this piece, I can't even get a part number for it. The information I got from my local shop was that I was going to have to replace the whole transom steering....from looking at the motor I shouldn't need to do this, its only a bolt on bracket. I think i was telling them the wrong information. Looking at the motor, where this piece should be, looks like I should be able to bolt a bracket up with two bolts to it, then be able to connect the steering arm to that. Let me know if I have totally confused you, hell I have even looked online for pictures of other mariners to see if I could make sure I am looking for the right part. Thanks

OK nevermind the above question....I found out today after looking at the motor again...that I am truely an idiot. So anyway if I could I would delete the above and like to pretend it wasn't written. Sorry
