hi i have a johnson boat motor model#jw18r serial#b100655 could someone tell me what year model this is and where i could find parts for it such as coils points and soforth.......thanks in advance and have a great day!!!!!

Your Johnny is a 1963 3HP. Probably the best small outboard ever made, by anyone.

Use a 24:1 fuel mix, Champion J4C plugs gapped at .030" and set the points at .020"

Support our host. Buy your coils and stuff right here at iboats. Decent prices and great service. And the shipping will probably cost less than the gas to drive to a dealer.

i have a 1968 3hp, sweet little runner. have it on a Gheenoe, simple to work on.
