I have old 9.5 johnson 71 I think. when I prime fuel line gas comes out of hole above float and not out of jet in carb. It does start but when it does it only runs for a few seconds gas pumps out of hole over float. can anyone help me?
Yep, either a sunk float or a stuck needle. Get a carb kit for $20 or so and take it apart and put the kit on. It's easy and should make it run normal again
