When I am testing my 115 hp engine on the hose, would the world stop turning if I also tested the power tilt and trim?
Thanks~

You can use the tilt and trim anytime in the water or not on the hose or not.

but it is best to store your motor in the down position. after i flush mine. i always tilt mine all the way up, then back down. this allows any trapped water to drain.

Concure, the TT doesn't care if it is in the water or not, the important thing is that you have water to the engine, that the engine is actually getting that water and don't rev the engine above 1500 rpm.

If you have neighboars close and want to keep the noise down I have put an old wash cloth over the prop exhaust with a rubber band, sort of knocks the edge off the open exhaust and somewhat simulates back pressure you would have in the water.

But you can run the TT all you want anytime.

Thanks, everyone. It made sense to me to test the TT that way, but I wanted to ask you experienced folks. Yep, TD, I'll remember to lower the motor when I'm done.
