1989 40 hp 4 cylinder looking for power trim

i have a near mint 89 40hp "classic" it has everything even a stainless prop but it dosent have power trim i know they have a unit for it ive seen one on a 45hp same model ....it looks like all i need is the trim motor as the hydrolic piston is allready there a merc rep priced one out for 700$ ?

Thats not a hyd. cyl on your engine it's a shock, so you need a complete kit or find a donor engine and switch the engine mount bracket with the trim system in it. You will also need the wiring relays for the tilt motor as it's 2 wire and solinoids won't work.
