Default Speed ??

How fast should the boat be running for wakeboarding? My kids have been talking about trying it out this year but the toon tops out around 26mph. In my mind I was thinking 15-20mph but I am not sure.

So if my toon runs 26 we should have plenty of speed to have a little fun. Not much of a wake but even with 10 people aboard I can still get 24 mph

Yeah, most beginners ride around 17-19.
Most pro riders are at about 24-26 (on glass).
So, you should not have a problem enjoying it.

Good to know. Tubing gets a little boring at 26mph LOL and the 25' Pontoon does not really turn fast enough to sling a tube so at least the wake board will allow the rider to have a little fun.

That is also plenty fast for kneeboarding, airchairing or even kids on two skiis. would be fine at or below 26 mph.
