Thermostat

I need to find out where the thermostat is located on a 1992 Mercury 150 Black Max? When flushing out motor the water coming out is extremly hot, was suggested by a repair shop to replace water pump but to check the thermostat first. Any info in locating it would be greatly apreciated.

There is one in each head at the point where the telltale hose exits

Changed out the thermoststs, thanks for the tip was real easy to do. After changing them out staeted moter and ran it for a while, water coming out of the moter was running about 125 degrees. I s that normal temp for that? Seems kinda hot.
