Sorry for the repost but the thread was closed and no one had a chance to say anything other than its not likely to happen. Can we have some idea why not? Its an obvious need. Is Iboats concerned that my selling a 20 year old Distributor will cut into their sales or something? Not being a smart ankles, just trying to understand the why of it.

It was tried several years ago. Just didn't go over as well as some members had thought. At least they do offer to list used boats which was taboo for a long time as well. If you have something for sale and frequent the site then see someone looking for something. You then can send them a personal message (PM) letting them know what you have and all the particulars on the item. Just don't do it in the forum itself. Hope this answers your question.......SS

Sure, Bubba.

1. It would compete with iboats' store.
2. It would require 24/7 moderation. You want to volunteer?
3. We tried it once and it fell flat on its face.

What part of "It isn't going to happen" don't you understand?

Management and moderation of iboats fora are not discussed in the fora. Is there some part of that you don't understand?

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but this topic has been brought up many, many times and the conclusion is always the same.
