just got engaged updated (pics)

So I just asked my gf of 2 plus year to marry me. we have been together since sept of 2006. We've been living together since may and I finally got the money for the ring. She is on cloud nine right now... its a good feeling to finally be at this stage of my life. She is my best friend, my fishing and hunting buddy, and my partner. I look back on how we met and something in how she ended up dumping a glass full of soda across the table on me (we didn't even know each other) and everything since then leads me to believe she is the one. We have fun in everything we do together. I have been feeling this way for a while now. It feels good to actually know that she wants to be part of the rest of my life.

She loves dogs and most animals for that matter. She was raised on a farm so she is used to being around large animals.

This is the way I had envisioned my own marriage to be and endure.

You are fortunate.
There is not many, as far as I can gather, who find that pot of gold and can keep it.

I wish you very much the same feeling for the rest of your bond in marriage and hope you will be hunting and fishing with her (and all of the little pikes that show up after a while) 'til the pearly gates open and make it even better!

Just do it in a boat!
