Well tell us the year and/or model number at least.
Basically you drop off the LU and the water pump is revealed but exactly what is involved in dropping the LU varies with age as it may or may not involve disconnecting the shift rod and also possibly depends on whether it is a long shaft or standard shaft. Maybe other factors as well.
