Hi, I have a 1970 sidewinder boat with a Volvo Penta B30 motor which has no exhaust manifold, ( I brought it that way). I now find that a new manifold will cost twice as much as what I paid for the boat. Can anyone tell me of any other way of getting around this problem, please. With thanks, Gerry. P.S. I know very little about marine motors.

Then you still got the boat cheap.

Ether keep it fix it.

Sell the pieces off of the boat.

And with the money buy another boat.

Do nothing and try to sell it to another poor soul and let him fix it.

Pick your option.

Boats are real cheap, or free for a reason. Usually because the seller found out what it was going to cost more than it was worth to fix.
I hear it all the time from customers "That's going to cost more than I paid for the boat" and I then have to explain that we do not base our labor rates, and parts costs on what you paid for the boat.
