I own a 1970 Mercruy 200 20hp thunderbolt and recently had to put a new saddle on it. While re-assembling the unit the throttle stop broke off. I was wondering if it is necessary to order a new one or if the purpose of it is not worth the hassle of buying a new one. I dont know if over-reving in neutral will have any durastic effects on the motor. Thanks for your replys..
